The comfortable bed provided a great night's sleep and the view of the garden was lovely. The kitchenette was convenient for quick meals and the ample seating and tables made it easy to work and dine. The bathroom was functional and the bedroom had plenty of storage space. The host had thoughtfully provided toiletries, tea, coffee, milk, and even a bottle of water. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding hills and coast, and the easy access to the M6 allowed for further exploration of the west and north of Scotland. We've already booked our next stay!

Lovely comfortable bed, good size table, and easy parking. the apartment had a great wifi connection. the host was very attentive and had thought of everything we might need. the location was convenient for exploring the beautiful hills and coast of Dumfries, and it was also close to the M6 for those wanting to venture further into Scotland. we had a pleasant and comfortable stay.
The lack of a kitchen sink and cooker was a bit inconvenient, although we were aware of this beforehand. You'll need to eat out or plan simple microwave meals.

Got great value for my money with a comfortable and tastefully presented room. The location was perfect for me, close to town and with plenty of parking. The owner was friendly and were very good too make my stay enjoyable. Excellent communication, super clean bathroom, and lovely touches of color in the bedroom. The area was quiet and there were plenty of supermarkets nearby. Highly recommended!
The morning meal could be improved by collecting dirty plates daily and providing a sink in the pantry. the heating was controlled by the host and the apartment was often too cold.
